Betty Manetta

Beatriz (Betty) Manetta founded Argent Associates as a technology solutions company in 1998.  Argent Associates, Inc. is an award-winning systems integrator that provides innovative technology, products, services, and supply chain solutions to enterprise and government customers. In addition, she owns and operates, Asociar, founded in 2012, and is providing an eco-system that includes multi-vendor pre-conditioned integration to meet the demands for 2020 and beyond.  Through Betty’s leadership Argent began its Internet of Things journey in 2007 by offering RSMS service.  In 2009 Argent was one of the first companies to develop and use cloud-based logistics applications. In 2010 Argent Virtualized its infrastructure using open source virtualization software and integrating it with its cloud applications.  In 2015 she initiated and NFV lab to develop COTS technologies for carrier customers. 

Prior to Argent, Betty worked for 20 years in the Telecommunications Industry both nationally and internationally handling sales in the Middle East, Africa and CALA region.   Betty serves on the Board of Directors for the following institutions:  TIA, QuEST Forum, US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), D/FW Minority Development Council (D/FW MSDC), Women’s Business Council Southwest, Seton Hall University Board of Regents, the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GDHCC), and in an advisory capacity role at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Supply Chain Management Masters Program. 

Betty has a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University and a Masters degree in International Studies from Seton Hall University.
