Chief Security Officer Roundtable
Wednesday, June 7 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM
The exponential increase in cyberthreats has heightened awareness for holistic security strategies that don’t just protect legacy and new virtualized telecom infrastructure, but devices, nodes, and data storage connected to it. Senior executives representing telecommunications, smart communities and smart industries, as well as public sector security officers, will discuss the critical need to defend today’s commercial and public infrastructure, while preparing tomorrow’s security operations centers to handle ever-evolving security threats. The panel will discuss process, protocols, and standards that are advancing a new cyber protection framework that is integral to infrastructure architectures. Further, they’ll discuss how to expand security perimeters to authenticated end-point devices through software-defined network capabilities that are more capable of adapting to emerging attack vectors.
