Mobeen Khan is the AVP responsible for AT&T’s industrial and enterprise IoT (Internet of Things) strategy and product portfolio. His responsibilities include formulating the long term industrial IoT portfolio and partnership strategy and product management.
Mobeen Khan joined AT&T with more than 15 years of progressive experience in technology marketing, business development, operations, and strategy. In his current role, Mr. Khan is developing and executing on the Industrial IoT business plan and formulating product strategy in Mobility Business Solutions at AT&T. His responsibilities include positioning AT&T as a leader in providing enterprise IoT solutions, delivering on the business plan and product portfolio roadmaps, as well as to build the technology and operational infrastructure to grow the IoT business.
Previously, Mr. Khan was the marketing head for all of AT&T enterprise mobility solutions leading marketing communications, channel development and product branding. Prior to that, Mr. Khan worked as a strategy consultant focusing on telecommunication and e‐commerce industries and at CRM and mobile start‐up software companies leading marketing and business development. He began his career with RAM Mobile Data, which later became part of Cingular Wireless (now AT&T), holding several positions in strategy, technology, and product management groups.
Mobeen holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He also earned his
B.S. in Computer Engineering and M.S. in Communications Engineering from Rutgers University. He lives in Dallas and works out of AT&T’s downtown offices and the Plano IoT Foundry.
